Americans love road trips. Road trips account for the most common form of the American family vacation, with over 69 percent of vacationers hitting the open road to get away from home. We sit down with friend of the show Maggie to discuss road trips in all of their forms. What we like about them, what we don’t like, fun stories and the horrible food that we decide is essential for being on the road.
We also talk about Maggie and Jeff’s new Nissan Leaf purchases. The Leaf is an all electric vehicle that is really (really) not good for road trips. Jeff shares his epic Christmastime Leaf road trip disaster and Maggie talks about the new logistics of going fully electric.
Darcie and Jeff also handicap our Dryanuary 2017 participants; reviewing who they think will make it all the way, who their favorites are for the sub-contests and how they plan on making it all the way through the month without drinking. Enjoy the show!
