The City of Colorado Springs is drafting an ordinance that will regulate short term rentals, otherwise known as AirBnBs. In this episode we take a look at the sharing economy as a whole and how AirBnBs are impacting cities throughout the country. We also discuss some of the issues with the sharing economy, including its impact on labor rights and typical workplace benefits. Finally, we look at the COS ordinance and the potential impact it will have on those who operate short term rentals in the city.
